Become an approved plumber with our WRAS course
If you wish to succeed as a professional plumber, you will need to be granted ‘approved contractor’ status by your local water authority. This is a requirement for most employers, including housing associations, local authorities, health care trusts, and the majority of building contractors/developers.
Access Training’s Water Regulations Advisory Scheme course has been developed to equip you with everything you’ll need to achieve that all-important ‘approved’ status.
Candidates who enrol on this course will learn:
- The Water Supply Regulations 1999 (and how to comply with them)
- The primary legislation underpinning the Regulations
- The documents used to enhance and explain the Regulations
What will I achieve?
If you successfully pass the written examination, you will receive the WRAS Certificate of Competence. This qualification will enable you to apply for ‘approved contractor’ status via your local water authority.
