Registration - Access Training Online (E-Learning Portal)

As soon as your enrollment is completed, the Gas Boilers Fault Finding Course will be added on your E-Learning Portal. You will be able to access a number of training resources that you can use to revise prior to your practical training.

In-Centre Training - Practical Training

• Testing S Plan and Y Plan heating systems on our central heating electric boards.
• The logical sequence of a boiler working and the step by step process on how to proceed with diagnostic tests on a functioning boiler. 
• Faults will be implemented on the functioning appliances and you will be using your knowledge to diagnose the problem and explain how should the issue be resolved.
• Learn how to identify and change components on non-functioning appliances and get a feel for how to strip and replace faulty parts.

Who is this qualification for?

This course is advised for but NOT restricted to students who have already passed their ACS.

The practical training element of this course is currently only taking place at our Edenbridge Training Centre.
