Electrical Vehicle Charging Course Modules

Registration - Access Training Online (E-Learning Portal)
As soon as your enrollment is completed, you will be given access to our bespoke Live Online Learning digital platform. You will be able to access to a large number of training resources and homework e-books* which you will need to complete as part of your preparation for your formal online exams.

Theory Module - Online Theory Webinars & Online Q&A Sessions 
You will attend 1 day of comprehensive live theory training webinars. You will be able to attend each webinar an unlimited amount of times before you take your formal online exams.  Additionally, you will be able to join other Learners on our regular Q&A online sessions and ask questions to one of our tutors.

In-Centre Training - Practical Training and Formal Online Exam
During this 1 day long Centre-based module you will complete a range of practical training tasks and you will also take 1 formal online exam. 

The course fees includes tuition, registration and initial exam/assessment fees. If you require additional training or exams (such us theory examinations resits) additional fees may apply, please see our Terms and Conditions for further details.

Qualifications

Successful completion of this course will provide you with the following qualifications:

• EAL Level 3 Award in the Requirements for the Installation of Electric Vehicle Charging Points

This course leads to an EAL qualifications. Awarding organisations may change from time to time.

Requirements

Before applying for this course, please make sure you meet the following criteria:

• 18 years and over
• Experience of installing PVC / PVC cable and SWA cable
• Ability to provide initial verification on electrical installations (including paperwork)
• Up-to-date knowledge of 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
